Painted in the late 1830s, this watercolour by David Cox OWS has lovely colours and detail. The lady on the right is carrying a child on her back while one of the men holds a finely detailed net. In the distance, one can see shipping on Morecombe Bay. Cox painted frequently in the area, working in both oils and watercolours.
