Spanish painter of portraits, figurative subjects and surrealist scenes. Exhibited in Barcelona, Paris and London. Established a Studio in Barcelona in 1907, where he held his 1st exhibition of portraits, where influenced by his recent visit to London. He exhibited his work in Paris, London and Madrid. At the same time, he took up stage and costume design for plays in Spain and Paris, which great success. He moved to Paris to further his career as a set designer. In 1934 he moved back to Las Palma,s where he worked for the rest of his life. There is now a museum in Las Palmas of his work.
