Alfred Morgan worked in oils and watercolours, exhibiting at the RA,BI,SS,GG and elsewhere. He had a wide subject range from Genre to Still Life. This view of small boats on an Italian Lake is a late work when he was trying to move away from genre paintings. It is a beautifully painted watercolour.
