Walter West visited Italy several times during his career travelling to Venice , Milan, Naples and the Lakes.

His paintings are post impressionist in style with strong light and colours.

West’s work are rare, few paintings appear over the year, he exhibited rarely at the Instittutions. However he was a highly talented painter and one of my favourites.
